Dear Diary....    Dreams are said to be a series of images, thoughts and emotions that occur during sleeping. Dreams are often occur when unconscious and are uncontrolled. They can be vivid and somewhat like a memory, or fleeting and hard to recall. Dreams can be influenced by our personal experiences, emotions and desires, and can be shaped by our subconscious mind.  " Dreams are whispers from the soul, A language only the heart can know. In slumber's embrace, they come alive, A world of wonder, where the mind can thrive. In dreams, the impossible becomes real."  Day 1: I flew out of the class and went into a library. At this point in the dream i was flying and flying seemed difficult as it required a lot of focus and it too a toll on my left leg. At the library, I was looking for a book. All of a sudden a king with a long spear walked in the library. Just when the king was aggressively approaching me my alarm rang and woke me up. Day 2: I had a dream about a tsunami. I

Dear Diary?  Week 6 at NEMISA was actually not bad.  What stood out to me this week was my drawing lesson. For Mr. Mark's drawing lesson, we learnt about Line Of Action. Line Of Action which is an imaginary line extending through the main action of a figure. We were then given a task to either draw a live action Bucks Bunny or an angry looking Donald Duck. I picked Bucks Bunny and I am not quite happy with how he looks. I can not wait to draw my final sketch of him. I hope he looks better than my first sketch. For Film Appreciation, we watched a movie titled "Pulp Fiction". "Pulp Fiction" is an American crime film written and directed by Quentin Tarantino released in 1994. The film circles around 4 tales of crime and violence in Los Angeles, featuring the lives of two mob hitmen, a boxer, a gangster's wife and a pair of diner thieves. The beginning of the film was mostly confusing but I eventually caught up to the plot and I must say it was quite interestin

" When a woman hurts, her whole body trembles with fear as her soul is dipped in darkness, and the only thing that can heal her is the salty water that runs down her soft cheeks. The water cleans and scrubs the wounds that leave scars behind as a remembrance of her vulnerability." A quote from a book I am reading by Nontokozo Zwane.  Dear Diary.....  Week 5 at Nemisa was cut short. I attended 2 days out of this week. We were given a break, we are to return next week on Tuesday, which would be the 18th of June 2024.  Finding the meaning of my surname has appeared to be harder than I anticipated. Is it possible that there is no actual meaning to it?  This blog seems a little chaotic. I am in a point in my life where i feel like I'm just flowing to whatever direction the wind takes me. What a dangerous feeling because the wind wouldn't always take me to the right direction. I hope for my own sake I am making sense.  I do not have much to say about this week because not

Dear Diary.... What stood out to me this week was the brief I got from Ma'am Sibongile. We were given a concept brief to use our initials to come up with a visually appealing design. We were then asked to give an explanation of our names and surnames as well as their meanings. In Mr Mark's lesson, we continued the lesson on 2 point perspective. In Ma'am Tebogo and Ma'am Zelda's lesson, we got cursive writing. We had a lesson on Time Management. Time Management is basically the process of organizing and planning how to divide your time between different activities. The purpose of Time Management is to give us the ability to get more work done. Time management involves setting priorities, creating schedules, managing distractions, and adapting to changing circumstances to make the most of your time. It can help reduce stress, increase productivity, and improve your work life. Week 4 at NEMISA was a blur. Trying to cover enough work before leaving for my uncle's fu

Dear Diary....... My third week at NEMISA...... My third week at NEMISA was mainly boring. Some days during the week were better than others. What stood out to me this week was finally having a lesson on Software training and the school event I had on Friday.  I finally got to start with Software training with Ma'am Moleboheng. She taught us how to use Adobe Illustrator and it was quite fun and interesting. I enjoyed the whole learning process and I hope to enjoy more of her lessons. For Ms. Zelda and Ma'am Tebogo's lesson, we watched Martin Luther King's speech titled "I Have a Dream" delivered on the 28th of August 1963, at the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. It was quite electric. We were then asked to each say what our dreams were on the spot. Ms.Zelda later gave us a task to write our own "I Have a Dream" speech in Martin Luther King Jr.'s speech format. She then gave us cursive writing to complete. For film appreciation, we wrot

Dear Diary My second week at NEMISA..... My second week at NEMISA was a blur. Looking back at my week I feel like it went by really fast. For my second week in Mr. Mark's lesson, we continued the process of shading. He introduced us to the concept of understanding light. We were later introduced to Perspective.  I learned that perspective is a technique for representing three-dimensional space on a flat surface. We also learned about one-point perspective which involves creating a single vanishing point on the horizon line.  In Ma'am Sibongile's class we were introduced to lines and how lines can be used and are used to convey a message, one's thoughts, or emotions. We were given a task on the spot to draw how we were feeling using only lines and color. We were then asked to present the work we came up with. The process of creating my line drawing was fun and I was really anxious and nervous when it came to the class presentation. We were then given a formal task to d

I have a dream ......

Dear Diary I have a dream...  I have a dream that my dreams hang loose in the distant skies that hold my discerning desire for peace, love, and money. I have a dream that one day I master my ability to effortlessly wear grace on my shoulders without a care in the world, for the one I aim to impress is in the heavens and within me.  I have a dream that a gentle breeze soothes my soul.  I have a dream to reach a sense of calm and comfort that reaches deep within my soul and spirit.  I have a dream that my dreams become reality.  I have a dream that I may find solace in the gentle cares of my life's vulnerable moments.  I have a dream that I may fulfill my life's purpose. I have a dream that I may reach my potential, and understand the significance of my existence before my time runs out. I have a dream to live.  I have a dream to truly experience life, embrace its beauty, overcome its challenges, and find happiness and fulfillment in every moment. I have a dream that I may live
