Dear Diary☺ Week 8 at NEMISA.... Last week of bootcamp. I hope I made it.    What stood out to me this week was the debate we had in Creativity and Problem-solving with Ma'am Tebogo about Codes of Gender. Hearing different opinions about the topic was quite refreshing and I found it a little amusing. Codes of Gender are basically the unwritten rules and social norms that define and reinforce traditional gender roles and stereotypes in society. These code shape our perceptions and expectations of what it means to be a girl/woman or a boy/man, influencing how we behave, present ourselves and interact with others. An example of this would be color associations, pink is for girls and blue is for boys. For Software training with Ma'am Moleboheng, we started with our ice cream and I am quite impressed with my work thus far.

Dear Diary........ A picture I have been obsessed with all week. And maybe just a front to cover up the fact that I do not have much to say about this week. Week 7 at NEMISA..........  What stood out this week to me was the task given to me by Mr. Mark, an upside down drawing....... The name of the task is self explanatory, but i will explain what the task required from us for the folks at the back. We were required to draw a portrait upside and that it should make sense when flipped upright. It sounded easy but it was much harder that I had anticipated. Overall I had fun in the making of my upside down portrait. I do hope Mr. Mark likes it. For Creativity and problem-solving with Ma'am Tebogo, we learnt about different kinds of sleep and what different dreams means. We were then given an interesting task. The task required us to write about the dreams we had. I had really interesting dreams this week.
